In connection with the use of state-of-the-art technologies in the process of management, education, education and conducting scientific research, Microsoft honored our University with the title of "Microsoft Cloud University". The congratulatory letter and the symbolic award were received by Prof. Waldemar Tarczyński, Rector of the University of Szczecin and Dr. Kinga Flaga-Gieruszyńska, Prof. US, Vice-Rector for the Organization of the US. The "University in the Microsoft Cloud" program distinguishes universities that use Microsoft tools and technologies in their scientific and research activities.
In the completed collection of funds to help war-torn Ukraine, the University of Szczecin collected the amount of PLN 17,834.50. The money will be transferred to the Szczecin branch of the Union of Ukrainians in Poland. The charity event "University of Szczecin in Ukraine" was organized by Prof. Waldemar Tarczyński, Rector of the University of Szczecin and Dr. Ewelina Cała-Wacinkiewicz, Prof. US, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the US as an expression of support for Ukrainian citizens in a dramatic situation.
The DKMS Foundation, as part of the student project "Helpers' Generation" implemented at the University of Szczecin, is looking for people who would like to help build a database of potential bone marrow donors. The DKMS Foundation is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against blood cancer and other diseases of the hematopoietic system by looking for bone marrow donors. To implement the student project "Helpers' Generation" you need people who will help in the form of volunteering in the organization of registration points.
