An agreement was signed at the Marshal's Office of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship on the implementation of the project "Miedzyodrze - zwiększenie skuteczności zrownoważonej ochrony przyrody", the partner of which is the University of Szczecin. The agreement between the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, the Polish Waters State Water Management Board, the Regional Water Management Board in Szczecin, the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection in Szczecin and the University of Szczecin concerns cooperation in the implementation of the project. This is the first step towards creating the Lower Oder Valley National Park.
Hab. Dr Renata Podgórzańska, prof. US – Vice-Rector for Education US was elected vice-chairman of the Political Science Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Scientific committees of the Polish Academy of Sciences are collegial bodies that group members of the Academy within a specific scientific discipline or related disciplines and facilitate their cooperation. They are the only representation of national scientific micro-environments elected in democratic elections. They bring together specialists from various areas of science and create a space for intellectual exchange and building relationships between scientists.
Finally, we invite students to participate in Business Day 4 - Generation X, Y, Z on the labor market, which will take place on April 25, 2024 in Aula Nowa, ul. Mickiewicza 64. The event is divided into lecture and workshop parts: Workshops improving communication, negotiation and adaptation skills to the requirements of the situation and environment on the labor market entitled "Pokolenie X, Y, Z - blaski i cienie we współpracy", led by Elżbieta Stelmach, business trainer. Lectures conducted by an outstanding practitioner from the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, entitled: "Modele biznesowe przedsiębiorstw w kontekście odbiorców produktów i usług - spojrzenie praktyka", will be led by Dr Paweł Mieczan, Owner of GESTION.
