March 22 this year World Water Day will be celebrated at the Institute of Biology of the University of Szczecin. This year the event is organized under the slogan Using water for peace. “Water for Peace” was chosen as the theme for World Water Day 2024 to highlight the importance of water in preserving peace and preventing water-related conflicts. Access to clean water is crucial for human health, social and economic development, which can help minimize potential sources of water-related conflicts.
The Student Government of the US, the Student Government of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences of the US, the Student Government of the Faculty of Economics, Finance and Management of the US and the Student Government of the Faculty of Humanities of US once again invite you to get involved in an amazing charity campaign helping our four-legged friends from TOZ Szczecin! This is the second edition of this campaign. There are collection points in faculty buildings where you can leave your items. This year, the most needed accessories are for cats of all ages: litter, food, blankets and hygiene mats. But let's not forget about the dogs, because they also need your help. The final Fundraiser will take place on March 23, 2024. On the same day, you will be able to spend a nice time in the company of four-legged sweets from TOZ.
