The agreement between the University of Szczecin and the Central Statistical Office was signed in the Rector's building. The commenced cooperation is a formalization of previous activities, as well as an opportunity to undertake further initiatives and projects. The purpose of the concluded agreement is to establish long-term and multi-directional cooperation between the Central Statistical Office, the Statistical Office in Szczecin and the University of Szczecin in matters related to the development of official statistics, exchange of knowledge and mutual support in the area of scientific and research activities.

Thanks to the cooperation of the University of Szczecin with the Powszechny Zakład Ubezpieczeń, another six buildings of the University of Szczecin have been equipped with Automatic External Defibrillators (AED). AED is a medical device whose purpose is to analyze the heart rhythm and, if necessary, perform cardiac defibrillation. Thanks to its advanced design, any person, even without medical education, can perform a safe defibrillation procedure in the event of cardiac arrest.

The first preparations for the elections are underway at the University of Szczecin. The University Electoral Commission has adopted the electoral calendar for the 2024-2028 term, which means that at the University of Szczecin we have started the process of electing the rector, members of the Senate, institute and faculty councils and the University Electoral College. The most important dates of the electoral calendar are also known, i.e. the date of election of electors in individual districts, as well as the date of election of the rector. The Senate of the University of Szczecin also elected the chairman of the University Electoral Commission, Dr Mariusz Nawrocki, prof. US. We recommend your attention to the website dobre24.usz.edu.pl, where all information about the electoral process at our University is posted on an ongoing basis.
