The 32nd Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity is behind us. We are happy to announce that this year the University of Szczecin Staff managed to collect a total of PLN 165,269.35. Volunteers collected a total of PLN 121,382.35. However, as part of the ongoing auctions on Allegro.pl, PLN 26,768.20 has been collected so far. Additionally, through the e-Skarbonka, the Staff of the University of Szczecin collected PLN 17,119.
Hab. Dr Adam Stecyk, prof. US, chairman of the Rector's Committee for the use of artificial intelligence tools, was among the winners of the Honorary List of 100 people developing digital competences in the 2023 edition. Nomination to the List of 100 is an expression of recognition of environmental commitment and activity to develop awareness and digital competences in Poland. These competencies are today considered fundamental for efficient functioning in the modern world. They clearly contribute to the benefits that digital technology offers to people, the state and the economy.
Hab. Dr Paulina Niedźwiedzka-Rystwej, prof. US - Deputy Director of the Doctoral School of the University of Szczecin, Leader of the Experimental Immunology and Immunobiology of Infectious and Cancerous Diseases Team - IMMUNO became a member of the Local Ethical Committee for Animal Experiments in Poznań. The committee operates at the Poznań University of Life Sciences - Department of Animal Physiology, Biochemistry and Biostructure.
