The Faculty of Physical Culture and Health of the University of Szczecin has concluded a cooperation agreement with Fabryka Wody in the field of activities aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle.Fabryka Wody and WKFiZ have committed to three years of cooperation in the implementation of joint initiatives such as events, parties, training conferences, popularization of knowledge to support health, wellness and promotion of physical activity.The agreement was signed by Konrad Stępień, President of the Management Board of Fabryka Wody Sp. z o. o., Prof. hab. dr Waldemar Tarczyński Rector of the University of Szczecin and dr hab. Marta Stępień-Słodkowska, prof. US Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Health.

November 23 this year The inauguration of the School of Ukrainian Law took place in the Senate hall of the University of Szczecin. The school was established thanks to fruitful cooperation with the Faculty of Law of the National University of Ivan Franko in Lviv. The ceremony was attended by hab. dr Ewelina Cała-Wacinkiewicz, prof. US, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration, hab. dr Wojciech Bożek, Vice-Dean for Evaluation and Dr Ewa Michałkiewicz-Kądziela, Rector's Plenipotentiary for International Affairs at WPiA US. The special guests of the event were: Henryk Kołodziej, Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Szczecin, prof. Marta Mochulska, deputy dean of the Faculty of Law in Lviv and prof. Volodymyra Kahnycza, school coordinator from Lviv.

The ceremony was also attended by Dr Dorota Kowalewska, Rector's Plenipotentiary for assistance to Ukraine, and Jan Syrnyk, President of the Association of Ukrainians in Poland Branch in Szczecin. Prof. Hab. dr Andrzej Skrendo, Vice-Rector for Science, signed the Plain Language Declaration on behalf of the University of Szczecin. The document was signed at the headquarters of the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy. This document is a commitment to create friendly and simple public communication. The event took place during the 5th Simple Language Forum "Straight and dot". Signing the declaration means starting work on the shape of messages and documents, as well as training employees in this area. This year, for the first time, the following universities joined the agreement: the University of Szczecin, the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, the University of Warsaw and the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań. Since 2018, a total of 68 public institutions have joined the agreement. More information you can find on our website niusradio.pl
