The University of Szczecin is the winner of the "University Laurels" competition. The 2023 University Laurels Gala took place on Saturday, October 28. This is an annual event organized by the Polish Universities Forum, an autonomous agreement of student governments of universities associated with the Conference of Rectors of Polish Universities. The competition selects leaders and initiatives promoting broadly understood university ideas. projects of the University of Szczecin nominated for the "University Laurels" won in all 7 nominated categories: Social Project – Spacerek na Uniwerek, Cultural Project - Szczecin Welcomes Students, Open University - University Student Support and Development Team, Scientific Project - Academy of Legal Skills, Ecological Project - Green Academic Housing Estate, Development of Students' Competencies - Personal Branding Week and Student Media – UNIWIZJA. The awarded Laurels are a great distinction for the University of Szczecin and proof that the initiatives undertaken together with the US Student Government serve the entire academic community.

MBA - i.e. the Master of Business Administration Postgraduate Studies celebrates its 25th anniversary at the University of Szczecin! People related to studies; students, graduates, lecturers, practitioners, as well as companies and institutions supporting this field will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Academy. Over the last quarter of a century, over 500 people have graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Finance and Management with MBA degrees! The ceremony will take place on November 18, 2023 at 12:00.

On October 26, the second meeting of the Senate of the University of Szczecin in the new academic year took place, during which, among others, handing out letters of congratulations and nominations. Prof. Waldemar Tarczyński - Rector of the University of Szczecin also presented a summary of the University's work in the previous academic year: "The University of Szczecin in facts and figures, academic year 2022/2023". During the October meeting of the Senate, the Rector thanked the employees of our University for their work, scientific achievements and the granting of ministerial financing for the implementation of projects that contribute to the development of science and the University.
