The ceremonial inauguration of the academic year 2023/2024 took place at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Szczecin. The ceremony was combined with the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty.

During the inauguration, Fr. Andrzej Draguła, prof. US gave a lecture entitled "Anniversaries, anniversaries, anniversaries. Theology towards time and place." Prizes and distinctions were also awarded, and new students of theology and familiology were officially admitted to the student body.

We would like to express our heartfelt congratulations to the Dean of the Faculty, Fr. Grzegorz Chojnacki, prof. US and we wish you all the best for the coming years!

Voting is underway in the University Laurels plebiscite organized by the Forum of Polish Universities. The award is given by students for students. The University of Szczecin was nominated in several categories. The nominated projects of our university include: Walk to Uniwerek, Szczecin Welcomes Students, Support and Development of the Tax Office, Academy of Legal Skills, Zielone Osiedle Akademickie, Personal Branding Week, Uniwizja - television of the University of Szczecin. On October 20, in the Senate Hall of the University of Szczecin in the rector's building, a plenary meeting of the Conference of Rectors of Polish Universities was held, during which rectors and other representatives of public universities had the opportunity to discuss important issues related to the functioning of Polish higher education and science. During the first meeting of the new academic year, the topics discussed included: economic analysis of public universities, principles of scientific research evaluation, the use of GPT Chat in the functioning of universities and academic rankings of universities. This meeting was a platform for exchanging ideas, experiences and joint planning of activities for the development of Polish higher education.
