On September 29, the new academic year 2023/2024 was officially inaugurated at the University of Szczecin. The organization was attended by the rector's authorities, other universities, invited guests and students who are just starting their participation with the University of Szczecin. This year, nearly 11,000 people were enrolled in full-time studies. In the new academic year 2023/2024, the University of Szczecin will welcome 5,600 students, including over 300 foreigners. 600 students for part-time studies. Currently, the University of Szczecin is developing over 10 PhD students in over 80 ways of using their studies.

On Sunday, the "Walk to Uniwerek" became history! A colorful and cheerful procession - to the rhythm of music - set off from Solidarity Square and reached the academic town located in Jasne Błonia. Rectors, vice-rectors, employees of West Pomeranian universities and students, applauded by the residents of Szczecin, officially welcomed the new academic year 2023/2024. The "walk" was also attended by, among others, Piotr Krzystek - Mayor of Szczecin. It is worth adding here that the organizer of this year's event was the University of Szczecin, and the broadcast was provided by employees of the Center for Media Education and Interactivity. In addition to our university, the Maritime University of Technology, the Pomeranian Medical University, the Academy of Arts, Collegium Balticum and the West Pomeranian University of Technology also took part in the event.

Hab. dr Kinga Flaga-Gieruszyńska, prof. US is on the board of the Scientific Society of Civil Processors. The Society brings together academics engaged in theoretical research on civil procedure and practitioners such as judges, lawyers and legal advisors. The aim of the Society is to disseminate and develop the science of civil procedure law, conduct and support research on civil procedure, finance and scientifically support work on the development of civil procedure, international cooperation in the field of civil procedure, as well as develop direct contacts between people and academic communities.
