Registration for full-time first-cycle and uniform master's studies was completed on July 12. This year, candidates could choose studies from over 90 majors offered by the University of Szczecin, including 10 new ones. Registration took place through the Electronic Registration of Candidates, and applications came in until the last minute. The number of candidates for first-cycle and long-term full-time master's studies was 6335. The three most popular fields of study turned out to be Psychology - 812 candidates, Law - 581 candidates and English Philology - 403 candidates. This year, the following faculties were also popular: Communication and psychology in business, Management, Finance and accounting, Internal security, Logistics and Business Management. Recruitment for full-time and all part-time studies is still ongoing. You can sign up for courses until August 16. On the other hand, the second recruitment for first-cycle full-time studies will start on July 31. Throw a high five for the hospital” under this name, the academic community of the University of Szczecin, the Pedagogical Institute, started a fundraiser for infants abandoned after birth, who are staying in the Neonatal Pathology Department of the Independent Clinical Hospital PUM in Szczecin. Funds are needed for the production and purchase of custom-sized hospital beds and paid vaccinations. We encourage you to support the collection on the zrzutka.pl website.

The ceremony of summing up the competition of the Academic Championships of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in the 2022/2023 season was held at the rectorate of the University of Szczecin. Prof. dr hab. Waldemar Tarczyński, the Rector of our University, presented the representatives of individual university clubs with cups in the shape of glass drops. The women's competition was won by representatives of the Pomeranian Medical University before the University of Szczecin, the West Pomeranian University of Technology, the Maritime University of Technology and the Koszalin University of Technology. The men's group was won by students of the University of Szczecin, ahead of the West Pomeranian University of Technology, the Pomeranian Medical University, the Maritime University of Technology and the Koszalin University of Technology.
