Wysłuchaj wiadomości w języku angielskim

In the rector's office The Polish language course for people from Ukraine was officially concluded at our University, during which the participants received certificates and congratulations from the US Vice-Rector for Science, prof. dr hab. Andrzej Skrenda, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities of the US dr hab. Krzysztof Nerlicki and Andrzej Przewoda, Director of the Voivodship Labor Office in Szczecin.

The classes were attended by 40 people referred by the Voivodeship Labor Office in Szczecin. – The lecturer, Ms Dorota Nawrocka-Jurek, MA, conducted two hundred teaching hours for our students as part of the program.

The action "Drop under the Christmas tree" is behind us. This is the second edition of this event. During the event, it was possible to donate blood in a substituted blood bus of the Regional Center for Blood Donation and Blood Treatment in Szczecin, but also to register as a potential bone marrow donor in the DKMS foundation's action. The organizer of the action was the Scientific Circle of Free Time Animators PASJA.

The interest in the action was considerable. In total, 15 liters of blood were collected and 11 potential bone marrow donors were registered.

In addition, on the premises of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Szczecin at ul. Krakowska, you could take advantage of many attractions and listen to Christmas concerts in which everyone could actively participate.

3.

The Congress of Doctoral School Self-governments is ahead of us!

This is the first such event organized at the University of Szczecin. The aim of the Congress is to create a platform for cooperation between doctoral student governments of doctoral schools. The meeting will take place online on January 7-8, 2023.

The Congress may be attended by doctoral students of Doctoral Schools' Self-governments or doctoral students representing Doctoral Schools in a different form, e.g. starost, member of the Council representing the Doctoral School within one doctoral students' self-government co-created with third-cycle doctoral students, etc. During the online meeting, topics will be discussed, among others. the following issues: problems of doctoral students with disabilities and their rights, financing the activities of doctoral school self-governments, cooperation of the self-government with the university authorities, or cooperation of the self-government with the Ombudsman for Doctoral
