By a unanimous decision of the Executive College of the Pomeranian Library, prof. dr hab. Jerzy Madejski from the Institute of Literature and New Media of the US was awarded the Golden Bookplate of the Pomeranian Library. It is an honorary distinction awarded by this institution since 1977. The award ceremony will take place during the opening of the 10th jubilee scientific session entitled "People of the Book of West Pomerania", which is traditionally held during the Library Week. The session will take place on May 12 at 9.00 a.m.
Workshops, training sessions, meetings, consultations - everyone will find something for themselves during the "Game for Career - Career Offices for You" week. From 16 to 20 May, the Academic Career Office of the University of Szczecin invites you to a time full of development initiatives. The program of the event includes meetings with employers, simulations of job interviews and workshops, some of which are subject to registration. As part of the nationwide event "Game for Career - Career Offices for You", students and graduates of the University of Szczecin can also take advantage of the offers of other career offices that take part in the event.
This Monday, May 16, 2022, there will be an opening at the Municipal Center of Culture, Sports and Recreation in Przecław. Students will exhibit their works of the Creative Technical School, a Szczecin school educating in the profession of Photography and Multimedia Technicians. The curator of the exhibition entitled "When is it?" is Kamil Winnicki, an artist dealing with visual art and fashion photography. He has a number of individual exhibitions and publications in international fashion magazines. The works of pupils and students are portraits that were prepared on a long time * of exposure. Thanks to this, they could paint with light, creating a double exposure and expose them in such a way as to fill the entire frame with colors. The vernissage will take place on May 16, 2022 at 5:30 pm. The exhibition will run from May 16 to May 30. Participation in the event is free of charge.
