The Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences of the University of Szczecin and the US Institute of Biology invite you to participate in the celebration of the World Water Day 2022, which will be held on March 22. The program includes interesting lectures, a surprising exhibition and a competition. Students from the Students' Scientific Circle of Immunobiology of Infectious and Cancer Diseases have prepared a special exhibition where you will be able to see how much water is used in the production of everyday objects. We invite you to familiarize yourself with the program, which is available on the website www.usz.edu.pl

On Plac Solidarności, you can see the exhibition "The Land of Ice. The Life of Children on the Front ”, devoted to Russia's aggression against Ukraine since 2014. The exhibition, prepared by the Association of Ukrainians in Poland, branch in Szczecin, with the support of the Szczecin City Hall, closes with a plaque with the slogan: "The war continues". The author of the photos taken in 2019 in the areas destroyed during the first phase of Russian aggression is Andrij Dubchak, a reporter for Radio Swoboda. These are depressing images of ruined houses, lost possessions and family heirlooms, and a damaged landscape. First of all, moving images of children and war from their perspective.
The exhibition will be presented at Plac Solidarności for the coming weeks.
