Jakub Skorupski from the Institute of Marine and Environmental Sciences of the University of Szczecin has been appointed to the Team of Experts of the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission for the implementation of the Framework Directive on the EU Marine Strategy in the field of non-native species. The task of the Team of Experts, nominated by member states and international organizations, is to provide scientific and technical support to the European Commission in the implementation of the FRAMEWORK Directive on the EU Maritime Strategy in relation to invasive alien species. On February 14, registration for matriculation courses organized by the University of Szczecin begins. The courses will cover 10 subjects, which are: Polish Language, Mathematics, History, Geography, Biology, Social Studies, English at the basic and extended level, German, French and Spanish. Training is free of charge and high school graduates can take any number of courses. Classes start on 21.02 and will be conducted remotely by the academic staff of our university.
