The Institute of Economics and Finance of the University of Szczecin and the Department of Economics invite students to participate in Business Day 2. Business Day 2 is divided into lectures and workshops.

Workshop on An "attractive" employee, or what? An "attractive" employer, or what kind? will be conducted by Elżbieta Stelmach - a business trainer. Lectures will be conducted by Dr. Artur Gnat. Their title is "Recruitment in the process of managing the company's image, or what is worth realizing and the employer?" – President of DOM MARKI Max von Jastrov Sp. z o. o.

The event will take place on April 26, 2023, from 10.00 to 15.00, in the New Hall of the Institute of Economics and Finance at ul. Mickiewicza 64.

Applications are accepted until April 19. The application form is available on the university website.

The Behavioral Economics Laboratory at the Institute of Economics and Finance of the University of Szczecin, which will be a research center for evaluation processes, decision-making processes and consumer behavior, is now open! The laboratory is a center of research on the nature of economic decision-making by humans with the use of tools and methods used in behavioral economics. Thanks to it, it will be possible to test human behavior and reactions to various external stimuli /factors. The investment, its construction and the purchase of equipment for the laboratory were financed from the funds of the "Regional Initiative of Excellence", subsidies from the discipline of economics and finance and university-wide funds.

Priest dr hab. Grzegorz Chojnacki prof. US, Dean of the Faculty of Theology, US became a member of the KEN in the 2023-2027 term. Father Professor is the only scientist from the West Pomeranian Voivodeship who is a member of this body. The tasks of the KEN include, among others: assessing the quality of scientific activity, preparing draft lists of publishing houses publishing reviewed scientific monographs, lists of scientific journals and reviewed materials from international conferences, and submitting proposals to the minister for scientific categories for entities subject to assessment.
