The upcoming 2nd edition of the Young Lawyer Academy will use a virtual reality room for the first time. It is one of the key elements of this year's Academy programme, which puts more emphasis on the social context of law, integration and building civic awareness. The second edition of the Young Lawyer Academy will start on March 16, 2023. The organizer is the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Szczecin. The application will last until March 6.

The Doctoral School supports the collection organized by the Turkish Ambassador to Poland to help about 13 million people affected by the earthquake that took place on February 6. Any donations will help the victims of the disaster who are struggling in harsh winter conditions and need our help. The collected items should be unused and suitable for winter conditions. Donors are asked to provide blankets, tents, sleeping bags, winter clothing for children and adults, food and hygiene products. The fundraiser is held at the Doctoral School at Mickiewicza 16, room no. 8.

Our University has implemented the EZD system, which supports document management. It will replace the paper form in the future. The University of Szczecin, as a leader on a national scale, introduces a modern solution through an IT system. It is true that training of employees is still ongoing, more and more of them easily cope with the new form of sending contracts, forms and other documents. EZD is an ICT system for electronic documentation management, which enables performing office activities, documenting the information transfer process and collecting and creating electronic documents. Access to the EZD system is possible only from work computers via the internal administrative US network or via a VPN connection. Simply put, through EZD we will deal with matters related to e.g. holidays, invoices or archiving. The Rector's ordinance on the rules of handling documentation and the implementation of the Electronic Document Management system at the University of Szczecin entered into force on September 20, 2022. The system is fully operational and has been in force since January 1, 2023.
