We have the best scientists in the world. A ranking of the most influential people of science has been published. Open Science week starts on Monday. Volunteers for the international swimming competition of people with disabilities are in demand.

The representatives of the University of Szczecin are among the most outstanding scientists in the world. Stanford University has published the TOP 2 ranking of the most influential people of science. Two lists were made available, with 6 people from our University! The list has been divided into "the best scientists in the world" and "the best scientists in 2021", and you can find it on our website www.niusradio.pl

Openness to climate justice - this is the theme of events taking place at the same time around the world. As part of the Open Science Week, the University of Szczecin invites you to a series of lectures and meetings. From 24 to 30 October, the Main Library of the University of Szczecin together with the Rector's Plenipotentiary for open access to scientific publications and research data of prof. dr hab. Anna Cedro and Michał Giedrys, Data Steward, invite you to the Open Science Week at the University of Szczecin. This event is intended for everyone, without any barriers. Volunteers wanted! The Open International Polish Championships in Swimming for Persons with Disabilities will begin in Szczecin at the beginning of November. In connection with the event, the organizers are looking for volunteers who will help in organizing the event.

The championships will be held from 4 to 6 November at the Floating Arena in Szczecin. During this time, the players of, among others, from the Czech Republic, Canada, the Netherlands, Ukraine and South Korea. It is a big organizational challenge, so the help of volunteers will be very useful. Their tasks will include handling competition at the pool, office work, or helping athletes.
