1. The Szczecin Lagoon is closed until further notice! Due to the occurrence of a direct threat to the life and health of humans and animals, in accordance with the regulation of the Voivode, Zbigniew Bogudzki, a ban on direct contact with the waters of the Odra River, including the Szczecin Lagoon, was introduced throughout the voivodship. The prohibition covers both fishing and any form of direct contact with water, including eating it, watering animals and watering plants. 2. The collection for the operation of the Point for children from Ukraine at the University of Szczecin continues until September 10th. The purpose of the collection is to enable the pupils to attractions such as: cinema, swimming pool and the purchase of school layettes. 3. A potentially dangerous situation could have arisen last Thursday evening (August 4, 2022) near the beach in Trzebież. For 2.5 hours, two suspicious men watched and followed female students relaxing by the Szczecin Lagoon. The behavior of the alleged attackers raised concerns among the two young women. It is not known what could have happened if the students did not manage to escape in the car they took to the town. The case was reported to the police. The services announced an increase in the number of patrols in the area.
