1. May 23 this year. In the Rectorate, a letter of intent was signed regarding cooperation between the University of Szczecin and the West Pomeranian Employers' Union in the development and popularization of the idea of Green Economy and Green Jobs.
The meeting was attended by: prof. dr hab. Waldemar Tarczyński - Rector of the University of Szczecin, Ms Anna Kornacka - President of the Board of the West Pomeranian Employers' Union, Mr. Maciej Witucki - President of the Lewiatan Confederation, Mr. Łukasz Łuka - Regional Development Director of the Lewiatan Confederation and Dr. Norbert Obrycki - Rector's Plenipotentiary for Territorial Cooperation.
The event is very important for both the University of Szczecin and the West Pomeranian Employers' Union, as it will result in the intensification of activities in the area of joint projects of cross-border academic and economic activity, education in the field of entrepreneurship, green economic environment, and corporate social responsibility.
2. The University of Szczecin and the West Pomeranian Voivodship Office in Szczecin invite on May 27, 2022 to participate in the security forum under the slogan "Our Security".
Safety over water, the role of the Territorial Defense Forces, safety at school, providing first aid, leading a healthy lifestyle, operation of the Emergency Notification Center and the integration of Ukrainian students - these are just some of the issues that will be presented by experts during the forum.
The all-day event is addressed to students and teachers of primary and secondary schools, university students and everyone interested in safety issues. The lectures will be accompanied by demonstrations of specialized equipment of rescue services, the army and institutions responsible for ensuring security in our region.
The forum will be held on May 27, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the audytorium of the University of Szczecin at ul. Krakowska 71-79.
